About the Department
The Department of Botany is among the reputed departments of Seth Anandram Jaipuria College. Currently there are 4 teaching and 3 non teaching staff members serving the department. The department also has a well equipped laboratory which can accommodate 20 students (maximum number) for practical classes.
Notable Alumni
Many Ex- students are successfully running different organisations. Some are holding good positions in Govt/ Private sectors. Rahul Dey who graduated recently from College is now holding the position of Bank Manager after completing MBA from IIM, Kolkata.
Future Prospect for Students
Lots of scopes for building career both in Academic and in administrative fields. Students also have great opportunity for self employment in the field of floriculture, mushroom cultivation etc.
