About the Department
The Department of Psychology came into its existence in the summer of 2006 when the 150th birth anniversary of Sigmund Freud, Father of Psychoanalysis, was being celebrated all over the world. The aim of the department is to provide experiential learning with an appropriate blend of theory and practice; to design the academic program with global perspective and local sensitivity and to serve the theoretical knowledge along with the unique application of the subject matter.

The department has a well equipped laboratory consisting of adequate number of psychological instruments and test materials.
