About the Department
Economics as a subject was introduced in Seth Anandram Jaipuria College in 1947, two years after its foundation. The department maintains a very high demand ratio. One of the strengths of this department is the result of the students. Every year students secure very high marks and many of them pursue post-graduation courses in renowned higher education institutions and universities all over India, like IIM, JNU, JU, CU, Rabindra Bharati University etc.
