About the Department
The department of Food and Nutrition pass began in the year 1996. The college took the initiative to begin honours course in Nutrition department in 2006. The department has a body of highly dedicated teachers and students passing from the department excel in academics.The Department also organizes a seminar in September for celebrating the National Nutrition Week.
The department has a well equipped laboratory where Food Chemistry, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc. are taught.
The students passing from the Department have bright prospects in School teaching, as research scholars, as college lecturers, as Dieticians and as food inspector.
